Snowboarding seemed like an odd idea for an Olympic sport— well, at least to me it did, but it turned out to be one of the most interesting and exciting sports of the 2006 Olympics. The competitors were fresh-faced, excited, had a good time… they were everything that I want to see from an Olympian.
BMX has been added to the 2008 summer Olympics. Will it be the summer Olympics’ snowboarding? It’s a similar culture. So, who will be the Flying Tomato of BMX? We’ll just have to wait and see.
