US Women’s Soccer Team Wins Gold
The US Women’s soccer team beat Brazil 1-0 today to win the Gold medal in the 2008 Beijing Olympics. Carli Lloyd scored in over time (extra time in soccer) to lead the United States to victory over Brazil. This was the US Women’s soccer team’s third gold in four Olympics. US goalkeeper Hope Solo, was said to have made a lot of great saves. I have not seen their victory yet, but I expect it to be fun to watch.
